It’s time for us to wrap up yet another incredible year of ARROW-HEART Adventure Camps. I want to start by thanking my staff. Without them the camps wouldn’t run.It is the most incredible feeling to build something and have other people appreciate and believe in your work. This again is why I have to thank those so deeply who do the day to day work. Without you, we do not succeed.
Idaho AH will be going into its fourth year in 2017. The journey has been an valuable experience. We have campers who have graduated our program and those who have come back to try again. We challenge our campers to do their best. It is what drives our organization and is the heart of what we do.
Damia was a Jr. mentor this past year in Idaho and has shown unbelievable leadership skills and commitment to not only herself, but to AH and the new campers within our team. (You have to see her teaching The Major how to dance). Click Here!
Our Detroit Camp was a huge success in early winter and spring of 2016. The kids absolutely loved coach Jordan. Our Saturday roster was filled to the max. We are still looking to run our camp in Detroit in 2017. We are hoping to raise the funds we need to open our doors again.
We started our first 12 week session in spring/summer of 2016 in Los Angeles. Coach Shawn and myself ran this camp and it was amazing to be part of the transformation for these kids not to mention building relationships with their parents. Community is truly important in not just our adult lives, but for the memories we help build for our kids. We hope to launch again in Los Angeles, March 2017.
From all of us at AH we wish you a happy, healthy holiday season!
